Eligibility Criteria for ISTA Postdoctoral Fellowships in Austria 2026:

  • The research fields of applicants should be supported by ISTA. Details are available at: https://ist.ac.at/en/research
  • Applicants should already hold a PhD degree or anticipate completing their PhD degree before starting the fellowship program (no later than 15 June 2027).
  • Applicants will receive a fellowship contract after providing a copy of their diploma or proof of successful defense.
  • Researchers who are already employed at ISTA before September 1, 2026 cannot apply for this program.
