During this fully funded fellowship, students will get a chance to interact with other fellows, university researchers, business partners of the institute, and home students. The applicants selected in this visiting fellowship will have to do teaching, give lectures in seminars, and collaborate on grant proposals to contribute to the local research community.

Eligibility Criteria for Edinburgh Visiting Fellowship Program in the UK:
- Applicants should have an open-ended position in an academic institution at the time of planned visit.
- Applicants should have relevant career experience and professional qualifications.
- Fellows must not be from the University of Edinburgh.
- Applicants from low- and middle-income countries are encouraged to apply.
- Applicants considered as minorities or who are currently underrepresented in the Futures Institute are encouraged to apply.
- Applicants should be currently working on projects that are related to key research areas of the institute.
- Applicants should have experience of leading projects related to the research areas and are looking for advancement of their work.
- Applicants who plan to create an idea for a grant proposal and this fellowship will help in the development of this proposal are encouraged to apply.
- Sponsors can be current staff members at University of Edinburgh or their work should be related to research areas.
- PhD students are not eligible to apply.
