The Climate Tech Fellowship in the USA is exclusively designed for early-stage innovators. The fully funded program is open to researchers, founders, and entrepreneurs from around the. Organized  by Newyork Climate Exchange in a hybrid format, the fellowship will take place for six months. Under the theme of Energy & Urban Resilience, the 2026 fellowship focuses on areas including End use Energy Innovation, Power Generation & Storage, Grid Modernization, Natural Carbon Solutions.

The Newyork Climate Exchange fellowship will bring together researchers, scientists, engineers, and entrepreneurs working on real-world issues regarding urban adaptability. They will get mentorship, funding, and a set of useful resources for implementing their climate solutions. Each team will receive a stipend of around $10,000. To keep a track of their progress, fellows will get a customized fellowship blueprint.

The in-person Climate Week will take place in September in New York City. One member from each team will get the opportunity to participate in the in-person Climate Week. The fully funded fellowship will cover travel and accommodation of this selected members. After attending the international climate fellowship, fellows will have a network of peers, mentors and potential investors.
