Applications are now open for the Oxford Saïd Global Climate Tech Challenge 2026. The competition is open to high students and teachers from around the world. The Oxford Said Global competition is looking for students and teachers who can bring innvoative solutions for climate change using technology. The competition is free to enter, and no IELTS or any other language proficiency test is required.
Climate change continues to affect communities worldwide. From air pollution and water shortages to food insecurity and biodiversity loss, many environmental challenges require fresh ideas and practical solutions. Through this Oxford Said Global climate change competition, Oxford aims to encourage young people and educators to use creativity, technology, and problem-solving skills to address these urgent issues.
One of the most exciting aspects of the competition is the opportunity for finalists to travel to Oxford. Shortlisted student teams and teachers will receive an all-expenses-paid trip to Oxford to present their ideas at the global finals. In addition, winners will receive prestigious educational opportunities at Oxford. The previous edition attracted more than 1,600 entries from 75 countries, making it one of the largest global climate innovation competitions for students and teachers.
