Eligiblity Criteria of the UI Great Scholarship in Indonesia 2025:

The scholarship is available to international applicants who wish to enroll in a master’s degree program at Universitas Indonesia.
Applicants must submit scanned copies of their bachelor’s degree certificate and academic transcripts, either in English or Bahasa Indonesia.
Candidates who already hold a master’s degree are not eligible to apply.
Students must fulfill the admission criteria for both Universitas Indonesia and the NEW UI GREAT Scholarship.
A minimum GPA of 3.0 must be maintained throughout the study period.
Those who are currently enrolled in another Indonesian university, whether on a scholarship or not, are not eligible.
Scholarship recipients must complete their studies at Universitas Indonesia and cannot transfer to another Indonesian university during the scholarship period.
Applicants must demonstrate English and Bahasa Indonesia proficiency. If Bahasa Indonesia proficiency is insufficient, students must attend a one-year Indonesian language preparation class (covered by the scholarship).

Admission Guidelines of the UI Great Scholarship Indonesia 2025:

Admission Registration Fee
- Applicants must pay a USD 100 registration fee and upload the payment receipt on the admission website.
- Combine the NEW UI GREAT Letter of Statement and a Recommendation Letter from the Indonesian Embassy (in any format) into one PDF document (max. size 3MB).
Language Proficiency
- Applicants need to meet the English and Bahasa Indonesia language requirements for their chosen program.
- If applicants don’t meet the Indonesian language requirement, they must take a one-year language preparation class at UI (this will be covered by the scholarship).
- If they don’t pass BIPA level 2 after the language class, they must pay back the scholarship money.
- Once they pass the minimum BIPA level 2, they can continue their studies and complete the master’s degree within 4 semesters.
