Team Up for Climate Challenge 2025 is open for international students and young graduates from all across the world to submit their entries online. Winners of this international competition can get a chance to win cash prize of €1,000 per team member and a fully funded study trip to Paris. Participants have to propose an innovative solution for the topic “adapting and living together in the face of climate risks.”
As teams will progress in the challenge, they will get help and support to move their projects forward. The support will include workshops which will train participants on pitching, business models, and entrepreneurial strategies. Mentors will be paired with all teams who will provide guidance on the technical areas of their ideas and the impact they will have on climate adaptation. Top three teams of this online climate risk competition will be awarded personal cash prizes, and additional funding to help them in bringing their projects to practical use during the first 6 months of their work.
Participants have to identify a local area that they know well and want to transform. Then they have to find the climate risks and vulnerabilities in that area. The project should focus on categories which include ‘Inform & Raise Awareness’, ‘Anticipate & Repair’, and ‘Protect’. By participating in Team up global climate challenge, participants will get hands-on experience in social innovation, become part of a community with like-minded people and get access to professional networking opportunities.
