Your placement with a Taiwanese NGO will be based on your professional background.

This fully funded fellowship in Taiwan is designed to strengthen international cooperation and help candidates develop area-specific skills. Over the course of one month, you will gain firsthand exposure to the day-to-day operations of Taiwanese NGOs. Depending on your area of interest, you may take part in event planning, project management, or fundraising activities.

Eligibility Criteria of the Taiwan Aid NGO Fellowship Program 2025:

  • The age of the applicant should be between 25 to 40 years.
  • The preference would be given to the applicants, who specialized in one of the following fields:
    • Community development,
    • Environment,
    • Education,
    • Gender,
    • Human rights,
    • Media and Information technology,
    • LGBTQ+,
    • Medical service,
    • Social welfare.
  • The applicant, having an outstanding background in fields other than the above-mentioned fields, is also eligible to apply.
  • The applicant must have an experience of three years in NGO.
  • The applicant must exhibit professional excellence.
  • The applicant must be an independent individual.
  • The applicant must be self-motivated towards his/her professional goals.
  • The applicant must be able to complete the fellowship with keen interest.
  • The applicant must be excellent in written or oral English language.
  • Applicants fluent in the Mandarin Language are preferred.
  • The following nationalities are eligible to apply for the program:
    • Southeast Asia: Brunei, Cambodia, Laos, Leste Timor, Indonesia, Malaysia, Myanmar, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, and Vietnam
    • South Asia: Bangladesh, Bhutan, India, Nepal, Sri Lanka, and Pakistan
    • Northeastern Asia: Japan, South Korea, Mongolia
    • Pacific Island Region: Palau, Marshall Islands, Tuvalu
