The Slovakia Scholarships in Europe are open to applicants from all over the world. Selected students can receive €5,000 per academic year for up to three years for bachelor’s studies or up to two years for master’s studies. The scholarship supports full-time studies in selected fields that contribute to Slovakia’s development. In some cases, scholarship recipients studying in a foreign language may also have their tuition fees waived, depending on the decision of the university.

To be eligible, applicants must meet all scholarship requirements, including obtaining the minimum required score in the SAT or SCIO test. Candidates can apply for supported bachelor’s, combined bachelor’s and master’s, or master’s degree programmes at participating Slovak public universities. Eligibility Criteria for Slovakia Scholarships for International Students in Europe:

  • Applicants should have citizenship of a country other than Slovakia.
  • There is no upper age limit to apply.
  • Applicants under 18 years old have to submit a hand-signed approval from their legal guardian.
  • Applicants must not have permanent residence in Slovakia since January 1, 2021, until the submission of the scholarship application.
  • Applicants should not have any prior study at a secondary school in Slovakia. Applicants for a bachelor’s scholarship must also not have any prior study at a higher education institution in Slovakia (except academic mobilities).
  • Applicants must have completed secondary education for applying at a bachelor’s or combined bachelor’s and master’s level.
  • Applicants must have completed a bachelor’s degree for applying at the master’s level.
  • Applicants should be available for full-time, in-person study.
  • Applicants must upload the required and applicable documents according to the templates available.

  • Applications should be submitted through the official website.
  • First, register a new account by entering your name, email address, and password.
  • A verification link will be sent to your email address.
  • Click the link to activate your account.
  • Log in using your email address and password.
  • Set up your profile by entering your personal information.
  • Complete the scholarship application form.
  • Enter your contact details.
  • Upload the required documents.

  • Complete all the required sections of the application form.
