How to Apply for the NIG summer internship program in Japan:

  • Before registering, prepare your current postal address, fields of interest, and your preferred host laboratory.
  • After submitting the registration form, you will receive a confirmation email containing your application number and password. If you do not receive it, check your spam/junk folder and make sure emails from “@nig.ac.jp” are allowed.
  • During registration, you must provide the names and email addresses of two recommenders.
  • Inform your recommenders in advance and request them to prepare a recommendation letter for you.
  • Once your registration is completed, your recommenders will automatically receive an email with the submission instructions for uploading their recommendation letters.
