Eligibility Criteria for the University of Milan Regional Scholarship 2026/27:

To apply for this Italy Scholarship, applicants must:

  • Be an Italian or international student applying for or planning to enrol in a full-time programme at the University of Milan.
  • Apply for an eligible Bachelor’s, Master’s, Single-Cycle Master’s, Doctoral Research, or Postgraduate School programme offered by the University.

How to Apply for the University of Milan Regional Scholarship:

To apply for the University of Milan Regional Scholarship, you must first be eligible to study at the University of Milan. The scholarship application is separate from the university admission application, so make sure you complete both processes before their respective deadlines.

Step 1: Apply for Admission: Apply for admission to an eligible Bachelor’s, Master’s, Single-Cycle Master’s, Doctoral Research, or Postgraduate programme at the University of Milan. If you are a new international student, you must also follow the University’s admission procedures.

Step 2: Complete the Online Scholarship Application: Access the Online Helpdesk (Benefits Service Desk) and complete the online Regional Scholarship application. Fill in all the required information carefully and make sure everything is accurate.

Step 3: Upload the Required Documents: Upload all the required supporting documents before the application deadline. If your household income and assets are outside Italy, you must also submit the required financial documents so the University can assess your financial eligibility.

Step 4: Submit Your Application: Review your application carefully before submitting it through the Online Helpdesk. The deadline to apply for the 2026/27 Regional Scholarship is 30 September 2026 (23:59 GMT+2). Applications submitted after the deadline will not be accepted.

Step 5: Check the Scholarship Results: After the application period closes, the University will publish the provisional and final ranking lists through the Online Helpdesk. If you believe there is an error in your evaluation, you can submit an appeal during the official appeal period before the final rankings are published.
