The UNESCO Global MAB Youth Forum 2026 in Italy is now open for applications. This international youth forum will take place from 18–22 May 2026 in Rosolina Mare, Italy. The event is organized under the Man and the Biosphere (MAB) Programme by UNESCO. Only 200 young participants will be selected from around the world. Importantly, there is no application fee to apply for this forum.
The UNESCO youth forum focuses on biodiversity, climate change, and sustainable development. The theme for 2026 is “Committed to the Future We Want.” The program supports young people who are actively involved in UNESCO Biosphere Reserves. It gives youth leaders an opportunity to share ideas, discuss global challenges, and propose practical environmental solutions.
Moreover, participants will join interactive workshops, group discussions, and networking sessions. They will connect with young leaders from different countries and learn from each other’s experiences. In addition, participants will present their projects and explore innovative youth-led initiatives in Biosphere Reserves. Finally, the forum encourages long-term cooperation and strengthens youth leadership in global sustainability efforts.
