Eligiblity Criteria of the MIT Summer Research Program in the USA:
- You must be a current undergraduate student studying at a U.S. college or university (not MIT).
- Be a sophomore, junior, or non-graduating senior with at least two years of college coursework completed.
- Students who will graduate before December 2026 are not eligible.
- Have a minimum GPA of 3.5, but students showing strong improvement or potential can also apply.
- Open to U.S. citizens, permanent residents, DACA students, and international students enrolled in U.S. institutions.
- You should be interested in graduate studies and research careers.
- Students from diverse, underrepresented, or non-traditional educational backgrounds are strongly encouraged to apply.
