Eligibility Criteria for Hiroshima University Global Doctoral Fellowship in Japan:
- Applicants must be international students who will enroll in a doctoral course or 4-year doctoral program of Hiroshima University in April 2026.
- Before applying, applicants should get approval of prospective academic advisor.
- Applicants should not earn more than 2.4 million JPY from January to December 2026.
- Applicants must not be receiving a Research Fellowship for Young Scientists from the Japan Society for the Promotion of Science, a Japanese Government (MEXT) Scholarship for international students, employment as an RA under the FOREST program, or any scholarships from their home country.
