TThe Fulbright Teaching Excellence and Achievement (TEA) Program 2026 is now open for applications. It is a professional exchange opportunity for Pakistani government school teachers. The program takes place in the United States and is scheduled for 2027. It runs for about six weeks in academic settings. This opportunity is for teachers who teach Mathematics, Sciences, or Computer Science to students in classes 8 to 10. Selected teachers travel to the U.S. and must return to Pakistan after completing the program.
This Fulbright program focuses on improving teaching skills through learning and classroom experience. It helps teachers understand modern teaching methods, lesson planning, and student assessment. Participants also learn how to use technology in teaching. The scholarship program connects teachers from Pakistan with educators in the United States. It supports shared learning, professional exchange, and better classroom practices. The aim is to help teachers grow as educators and apply what they learn in their own schools.
The program provides full financial support during the stay in the United States. It covers travel, academic costs, housing, meals, and health coverage for the program period. Participants also receive professional development support. Applicants do not need to take IELTS or TOEFL at the time of application. Only shortlisted candidates are asked to take TOEFL later, without any fee. All participants must return to Pakistan after the program ends.
