The Asia Pacific School on Internet Governance (APSIG) Fellowship 2026 in Taiwan is open to individuals having a strong interest in Internet Governance. The fully funded program will bring together a group of emerging leaders from diverse backgrounds. It is an excellent opportunity for professionals, researchers, academics, civil society members, and representatives from governmental organisations and NGOs. APSIG fellowship is tentatively scheduled to take from 29 November – 3 December, 2026 in Taipei, Taiwan.

Fellows selected for this fully paid program will get accommodation and meals during the program days. Moreover, they will receive reimbursement for airfare and visa fees. The fellowship aims to create an open and secure digital future for Asia Pacific region. It is particularly designed to support participants in building the knowledge, skills, and networks required to develop  more inclusive Internet processes. During the fellowship program 2026, participants will attend workshops and participate in discussions and interactive sessions.

By attending this fully funded fellowship, participants will gain vast knowledge from industry leaders, experts, and policymakers. They will also have networking opportunities. APSIG platform will help fellows to connect and collaborate with peers, mentors and fellow professionals. Additionally, individuals will also join a community of Internet governance advocates and contribute to new initiatives. On top of this, leaders will have opportunities for professional development which will be helpful for their future growth.

Eligibility Criteria for APSIG Fellowship in Taiwan:

  • Applicants must be 18 years old or above from the Asia Pacific region.
  • Candidates should have interest in Internet governance.
  • Applicants should have proficiency in English.
  • Individuals are expected to have relevant proven knowledge and background in internet governance (attended webinars, relevant courses, or meetings) remotely or in-person.
  • Candidates should follow the standards of behavior set by APSIG.
  • Individuals who have already attended this fellowship and are APSIG alumni cannot apply again.
  • Fellows willing to contribute to the community will preferred.
  • The program encourages females, Persons with Disabilities, and other marginalized communities to apply.
  • Candidates having motivation and a post-school community engagement plan will be preferred.
  • Individuals who are Staff members, blood relatives, and any other close association with APSIG sponsors, Executive Committee, or Fellowship Committee members cannot apply.
