Eligibility Criteria for Wonju UNESCO City of Literature Residency 2026:
- Applicants must have at least an upper-intermediate level of proficiency in English or Korean language.
- Applications must be connected to a UNESCO City of Literature.
- Writers with at least 5 years of creative writing experience are encouraged to apply.
- Applicants should have at least one published work translated into English or Korean.
- Applicants should be willing to participate in literary events, meetings, interviews, and festivals during the residency.

How to apply for Wonju UNESCO City of Literature Residency:
- To submit your application, you have to write about yourself, your literary works, awards, achievements, your literary world, your reason for coming to Wonju, your creative plan to fulfill during the residency, and how you will include the Wonju experience in your new creative works.
- The word limit is 1000–2000 words.
- The text font size should be 12 pt.
- Explain your connection to a UNESCO City of Literature as well.
