World Forum for Democracy 2024 in France

World Forum for Democracy 2024 is a credible opportunity for the brilliant minds of the Council of Europe. This opportunity seeks candidates who meet the eligibility criteria of this fully-funded forum, irrespective of their gender, marital or parental status, disability, racial or ethnic origin, belief, color, religion, or sexual orientation This fully-funded conference aims to strengthen democracy from grass root and strengthen its foundations for democratic societies. This remarkable ladder will keep more participatory and inclusive structures and institutions in place.

The opportunity to participate in a democracy forum in France promotes innovation in the institutes and transfers it on a systemic level to affirm the pillars of democracy everywhere. There are proponents and opponents of democracy who want to know whether democracy will fail or prevail shortly. To address the challenges that are haunting the values of democracy, the heated debate of the WFD forum will be productive for the policymakers and public officials who want to spread it in the institutions.

The fully-funded youth forum in Europe is an outstanding option for the youth to organize activities that may help them make their voices heard and present their views about democracy. The young participants will be allowed to join different labs and side events according to their abilities, competencies, and key interests. Being active partners and contributors to the World Forum, they can bring in new ideas and initiatives. You should be able to work and communicate in English and be motivated to contribute to innovative ideas about youth and democracy.

The 2024 WFD in France will consist of discussions about successful initiatives and actions based on a realistic approach. The general guiding principles will be carved out of the forum that may encourage future policy responses. Almost 50 to 60 young minds are invited to the forum to participate and engage with the opinion-formers and decision-makers about the question of democracy and information. To prepare well for the forum, the introductory session will be held before you arrive in Strasbourg, where you will meet your other fellows and supervisors and learn about the forum’s objectives

Eligibility Criteria of the World Forum Democracy in France 2024:

Age should be between 18 to 30 years.

Ability to communicate in English.
Actively engaged with the democracy initiatives within civil society.
Passionate to contribute to the development of new ideas about youth and democracy.

Be able to participate fully in the forum from November 04, 2022, till November 10, 2022.
Be ready to share the challenges, related to democracy.
Be able to demonstrate solution-focused ideas and visions about democracy.
