The Japanese Government MEXT Scholarship supports foreign students who want to study in higher education institutes in Japan. The MEXT Scholarships are offered by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science, and Technology.
The MEXT Japanese Government Scholarships 2022 are offered for undergraduate, master’s, and doctoral degree programs. There is a number of fields in which students can apply but research students are restricted to applying to the traditional entertainment arts, welfare science, medicine, or dentistry-related fields
Before applying for the Japanese Government (MEXT) Scholarship for 2022, a candidate should visit the official website to look for eligible courses. All interested candidates must be from a country that has diplomatic relations with Japan and must apply through the Japanese Government Embassies and Consulates. All students will be creating goodwill between Japan and their country of origin.
In order to apply for the MEXT Scholarship 2023, IELTS or TOEFL is not mandatory. And in this fully-funded international scholarship, tuition fee, airfare allowance, exam fee, stipend, and transportation allowance in Japan will be covered. Eligibility Criteria of MEXT Scholarship in Japan 2023:
- A candidate must be from a country that has diplomatic relations with Japan.
- A candidate should be good in health.
- A candidate must be born on or after April 2, 1985.
- For bachelor or Undergraduate Students, a candidate must have completed 12 years of education.
- For a Master’s Degree, a candidate must have a bachelor’s degree.
- A candidate should have a master’s degree while applying for the doctoral degree program.
