Google Public Policy Fellowship

Google Public Policy Fellowship 2025 in U.S.   is offered to students who are passionate about internet and technology policy. This international fellowship in USA will provide a chance to attend one semester in Washington D.C. to contribute towards public discussion on these problems, and analyzing future professional and academic opportunities. During this Google Fellowship program for international students, fellows will work at public interest organisations at the cutting edge of discussions on technology policy problems or public affair discussions with expertise in policy subject matters.

The Public Policy Fellowship will be funded by Google and will offer administrative support for the program. The host organizations will conduct the selection process and will provide supervision and guidance to the fellows. Fellows can either work full-time or part-time according to their availability making this a flexible opportunity for them. Fellows can select up to 2 host organisations to work with during this program according to their interest and preference.

During US Google Public Policy Fellowship for undergraduate, graduate and law students, fellows will work under the guidance of an assigned mentor at a host organization. Fellows will have to contribute to the work of their organisation by conducting policy research and analysis, drafting reports, participating in government meetings and conferences, and attending other advocacy events and activities. This is an exciting opportunity to work with diverse organisations in U.S and meet like-minded fellows from all over the world.

Eligibility Criteria for Google Public Policy Fellowship 2025 in US:

  • Applicants must be current students.
  • Applicants must be enrolled in or have gotten admission in colleges, universities, undergraduate programs, Masters programs, or PhD programs.
  • Applicant’s eligibility is based on enrollment in an official university by August 30, 2025.
  • Applicants must be eligible and allowed to work in the country of their fellowship.
  • Applicants must have the ability to manage multiple projects side by side in an efficient manner, and should be able to work creatively in an advanced environment.
  • Students from all majors and degree programs who show dedication to Internet and technology policy can apply.
  • Students should have excellent academic record, professional/extracurricular/volunteer activities, and subject matter expertise.
  • Students should have first-rate analytical, communications, research, and writing skills.
  • Applicants must be at least 18 years old by January 1, 2025.
  • Fellows who have already participated in Google Policy Fellowship are not eligible to apply.
