The Institute for Human Sciences (IWM) is accepting applications for Digital Humanism Fellowship in Austria for the session 2025-2026. The fully funded fellowship program is an excellent opportunity for competent scholars to conduct innovative research on digital society. Fellows will receive a monthly stipend according to their academic qualification. This stipend amount will be used to cover travel, accommodation, living expenses, health insurance and other additional expenses.
The benefits of international fellowship program do not end here! During the research fellowship in Vienna, IWM will provide an office space to the fellows, having access to internet, in-house research and administrative facilities. They can avail in-house lunch and other services without paying any charges. In each semester, 1 Senior Visiting Fellow is invited to join The Institute for Human Sciences for 1 month fellowship program. This fellowship in EUrope also invites 2 Junior Visiting Fellows for 3 consecutive months at IWM in Spring 2026.
Fellows will work with researcher community of the institute. They will participate in different research related activities. During their stay, researchers will also organize lectures and conferences for public audience of Vienna and beyond. Fellows who have completed their doctoral degree program and, those who are currently pursuing their doctoral degree can also apply for this global fellowship program in Europe.

Eligibility Criteria for Digital Humanism Fellowship in Austria:
- Senior Visiting Fellowships are awarded to researchers by invitation only.
- For Junior Visiting Fellowship, applicants must be currently doing their doctoral degree or have already done their PhD within the last four years.
- Applicants should have either completed their doctoral degree or currently pursuing their doctoral degree.
