DGIST Summer Internship Program 2026 is a paid internship in Korea for young researchers from across the globe. Talented students will get a chance to explore DGIST’s research environment through the DGIST Research Internship program. As visiting research interns, participants will complete their internship at the laboratories assigned by DGIST faculty members under the supervision of academic advisors. They will be guided about the procedures and techniques critical for accurate research.
This research internship for undergraduate students will last 6 weeks from June 29, 2026 to August 7, 2026, at DGIST University in South Korea. To ensure high-quality research outcomes, DGIST provides a structured research environment. In addition to learning about current research developments, students will gain hands-on experience working in laboratory settings. Students can conduct more in-depth and focused research in their respective fields during this internship period.
Researchers can explore diverse research areas offered by university departments related to Physics, Chemistry, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Robotics, Mechatronics, Engineering, Energy Science, Brain Sciences, New Biology, and Interdisciplinary Studies. This internship opportunity for undergraduate students offers benefits such as financial support up to KRW 1,560,000 (including scholarship, dormitory fee, and daily allowance), research experience in graduate laboratories, and a certificate of completion upon successful participation.
To make this South Korean internship program more engaging, the university will organize various cultural and social activities to introduce Korean culture to international participants. These activities are arranged as part of the program experience. Participation in these events does not require additional registration fees. It will be a combination of research experience, financial support, and cultural exposure. Interested students should review the official guidelines and apply within the deadline.
