If you are one of them, it’s time to share and expand your work through the One Young World Brandtech Group AI for Good Scholarship 2026. The fully funded summit in South Africa is designed to explore latest AI opportunities and challenges for the upcoming generation. This youth program is offered by The Brandtech Group in collaboration with One Young World.
The One Young World scholarship will select five outstanding young leaders from Africa. During the international summit, scholars will lead multiple initiatives related to AI usage. They will explore how AI can be used to tackle climate change, increase access to education and improved productivity. Furthermore, young leaders will focus on how AI can be used to handle false information, virtual hate, and social harm.
Selected participants will attend the One Young World Summit 2026 from 3 – 6 November, in Cape Town, South Africa. The program will cover airfare, hotel accommodation, meals, and ground transportation. On top of this, participants will have access to Pencil AI for creative production and distribution. After attending OYW youth summit, scholars will have join the Alumni network and ambassador community of the host organisations. They will have access to expert mentor sessions for turning their ideas into practical solutions.

Eligibility Criteria for Brandtech Group AI for Good Scholarship 2026:
- Applicants must be 18 to 30 years old.
- Candidate should be nationals and residents of any African countries with proven AI initiatives in Africa.
- Candidates should show their capacity for leadership and promotion of responsible use of AI.
- Young leaders should have proven record of offering useful and innovative solutions using AI to address one or more of the five theme pillars.
- Applicants should have a good understanding of local and/or global issues.
- Candidates must be willing to interact and engage with fellow scholarship candidates and management of Brandtech Group.
