The Asia Journalism Fellowship 2026 in Singapore is currently accepting applications from journalists across Asia. This fully funded fellowship is announced for experienced journalists working across Asia. The programme will run from 6 July to 28 August 2026. Firstly, fellows will join online sessions for four weeks. After that, selected participants will travel to Singapore for the final four weeks. The fellowship gives journalists a chance to learn, connect, and discuss the future of media with professionals from different countries.

Selected fellows will receive several benefits during the programme. The fellowship covers accommodation in Singapore and provides support for travel-related expenses. In addition, fellows will receive airport transfers and an allowance during the in-person segment of the programme. The online part of the fellowship also includes internet support for participants. Besides the financial support, fellows will gain international exposure, join discussions with senior journalists and academics.

AJF 2026 welcomes journalists from across Asia who are actively working in the media industry. Freelancers are also eligible if journalism is their main source of income. Applicants must have at least five years of professional journalism experience and should feel comfortable communicating in English. Journalists from print, television, radio, digital, multimedia, and photography backgrounds can apply. The fellowship is looking for passionate media professionals who value ethical journalism, strong storytelling, collaboration, and learning from different perspectives and cultures.
