The ASEF Young Leaders Training 2026 is an international youth leadership program organized by the Asia-Europe Foundation. This program focuses on building leadership skills for a human-centred future through online training and community-based activities. The duration of the youth leaderdship program is around 6 months (June to November 2026). The online training phase will take place from 9 June to 30 July 2026, followed by a community action phase from August to November 2026. Additionally, a selected group of participants will get a chance to attend an in-person training in Tromsø from 23 to 29 August 2026.
One of the best things about this opportunity is that there is no application fee or participation fee. Selected participants for the in-person training will also receive travel support, accommodation, and meals. There is no IELTS requirement mentioned for this program. Eligibility Criteria of the ASEF Young Leaders Summit (ASEFYLS):
- You should be between 18 to 30 years old
- Applicants must belong to eligible countries from Asia or Europe
- Open for students and young professionals from different backgrounds
- You should be actively involved in youth activities, student groups, or community work
- A good command of English is required (no IELTS needed)
- If you have leadership experience or have worked on community projects, it will be a strong advantage
