Eligibility Criteria for the Young Trade Leaders Program in Switzerland:
Applicants applying must:
- Be between the ages of 18 and 30 till the application deadline and should possess a keen interest in global/international trade.
- Be a citizen of a country that is a member of WTO.
- Not be affiliated with himself/herself or any relative with WTO.
- Have good written and spoken English. (Knowing French or Spanish will be a plus point).
- Be aware of the importance of diplomacy.
- Demonstrate a readiness to accept different viewpoints.
- Be eager to increase awareness of trade-related issues, and encourage constructive interaction.
- Be dedicated to completing the training program of 1 year from July 2024- June 2025.

- The application procedure is very simple.

- Shortlisted candidates will have to give an interview in July 2024.
Documents Required for the 2024 Young Trade Leaders Program:
- Updated CV of 2 pages only.
- Briefly introduce yourself, tell your interest in the program, and the impact you think to have as a Young Trade Leader in a video of 2-3 minutes.
- Answer the question “What does trade mean for you?” in not more than 300 words.
- Applications after the deadline will not be accepted.
- Valid passport to travel to Geneva.
