Eligibility Criteria for the University of Auckland Excellence Scholarship Program:
Applicants applying must:
- Be an international student.
- Be a new student who has received a conditional or unconditional offer of admission, or an English Language Academy student who has received a conditional or unconditional offer of admission.
- Be enrolling or enrolled in the Summer Start International Programme and have received a conditional or unconditional admission letter.
- Be enrolling full-time in a Postgraduate Diploma, master’s degree, or undergraduate degree programme.
- Have a GPE of at least 6.00.
- Inform the Scholarships Office about all scholarships, awards, or grants the applicant is receiving other than this scholarship.
- Meet the academic merit criteria for this scholarship.
- Not be citizens or permanent residents of New Zealand or Australia.
- Be enrolled in on-campus programmes.
- Repay the scholarship amount if they do not complete at least two semesters at the University of Auckland after selection.
