The SI Global Executive Programme 2026 in Sweden is designed for senior executives who want to integrate sustainability into their core business strategy and lead meaningful transformation within their organisations. The programme will run from May to November 2026 and includes both online learning modules and a one-week onsite visit in Stockholm, Sweden. This international leadership opportunity brings together around 100 senior executives from 24 eligible countries, creating a diverse platform for collaboration, peer learning, and global exchange.
This SI leadership program was established to support forward-thinking business leaders committed to building socially responsible, economically resilient, and environmentally sustainable organisations. It reflects Sweden’s strong tradition of innovation, sustainability, and cross-sector collaboration. The programme is specifically tailored for CEOs and senior executives in medium to large companies who have a mandate to drive strategic change and contribute to the green transition. It is carefully designed to accommodate the time constraints of senior leadership while ensuring practical and measurable impact.
The programme combines interactive workshops, facilitated seminars, peer learning, coaching, and meetings with Swedish companies and sustainability experts. It is not lecture-based; participants are expected to actively engage and apply new insights directly within their organisations. A key component of the programme is the Strategic Business Project, where each participant develops and begins implementing a sustainability-focused project aligned with their company’s overall strategy.
The programme consists of five main components: the Foundation module (May–June, online), the Strategic Business Project (May–October), Advanced Practice Sessions (August–September, online), Sweden Week (12–16 October 2026, onsite), and the final Way Forward sessions (November, online). During intensive modules, participants should expect to dedicate approximately three to four hours per week to programme activities.
The Swedish Institute covers all programme-related fees, pre-arranged accommodation in Stockholm, and meals during the onsite visit. However, participants or their companies are expected to arrange and cover travel costs to and from Sweden.
