The International Internship Pilot Program (IIPP), offered by the National Science and Technology Council (NSTC) is a paid internship in Taiwan designed to bring in foreign talent by allowing students to experience Taiwan’s strengths in the field of Science and Technology. This internship will be helpful for them as they will get familiar with the nature of work and jobs in Taiwan. Eligibility Criteria for NSTC International Internship in Taiwan:

  • Bachelors, masters and PhD students can apply.
  • Students should have foreign nationality and should be studying in foreign colleges and universities.
  • Applicants’ specialty should meet the core strategic industries.
  • Foreign nationals are eligible to apply except students from Mainland China, Hong Kong & Macau who are studying at foreign higher education institutions.
  • Students should meet the key areas of Taiwan’s research and development.
  • Students with background in humanities and social sciences are also eligible to apply.
  • Language Proficiency levels in English, Mandarin, or Taiwanese language are required.
  • Interns can not get funding from any other Government Department.
  • Incomplete forms will not be accepted.

  • Then create your online profile.
  • Answer all necessary questions in the application form.
  • Upload all required documents mentioned.
  • Review and submit your form.
  • You can edit it after submission as well but before the deadline.

  • Resume in English or Chinese of not more than 2 A4 pages.
