Leiden University Scholarship in the Netherlands 2024-25 is funded by The Minerva Scholarship Fund Foundation (MSF) which was established in 2009. It offers scholarships to Leiden University students for research and study projects in various scientific fields at prominent colleges and organizations abroad. This European scholarship allows students to grow internationally and pursue their goals of expanding beyond Leiden University.

Seven faculties of Leiden University include Archaeology, Law, Medicine, Mathematics and Natural Sciences, Humanities, Social Sciences, and Governance and Global Affairs which MSF supports through project funding. These diverse disciplines boost research and opportunities through internships, fellowships, or scholarships at international institutes. This funded scholarship in Europe will allow students to study and work together with people of different opinions and share their knowledge and experiences.

MSF scholarship in Netherlands is an easily accessible, practical, and transparent student fund. There are very few other funds where such critical, independent, and qualified people, with an eye for real talent and for really important projects, make decisions on applications. All applications will be evaluated by a highly qualified Allocation Committee, which will entirely include lecturers from Leiden University. With an intent to expand financially, MSF organizes dinners and other fundraising activities.

Eligibility Criteria for Leiden University Scholarship 2025 in Netherlands:

Applicant’s:

Should be registered as a Bachelor’s or Master’s student at Leiden University.
Do not need to be a member of L.S.V. Minerva.
Should have their application related to an outstanding study or research project.
The project should fall into one of the following categories including internship, study, or research.
PhD and complete Master programs cannot apply.
Must submit a project report along with pictures within three months of project completion.
Should be currently studying at Leiden University and want to do a special project abroad are only eligible for this opportunity.
Projects in the Netherlands will not be given scholarships.
