KWI International Fellowship is designed for exceptional researchers worldwide. This funded program in Germany is an excellent opportunity for researchers having background in cultural studies, social sciences, and humanities. During the global fellowship program, scholars will be provided with modern office space and library service. They will also get technical, communicative, and administrative support from the host institute. Fellows will get a fellowship contract of 6 months.

KWI Fellowship in Germany is offering a monthly allowance of 3,000 € which will cover accommodation cost, insurances, and living expenses. Scholars can also get partial reimbursement of round trip travel expenses. Eligibility Criteria for KWI International Fellowship in Germany 2025-26:

  • Applicants must have completed their PhD and should have up to 6 years of post-doctoral experience.
  • Project proposals submitted by applicants must address the research objectives of KWI.
  • German nationals are eligible to apply if they are currently working at any foreign institute.
  • Applicants must begin and complete their fellowship on the announced dates.
  • Applicants must submit a PhD certificate with their application.
  • Applications received after the deadline will not be accepted.
  • Incomplete applications will not be considered.
