Call for applications for the Hitachi Young Leaders Initiative 2026. Offered in partnership by Hitachi, and Publicis Groupe Philippines, the youth program will take place from May 24–29, 2026, in Cebu, Philippines. HYLI is a fully funded youth leadership program, charging no application or participation fee. The leadership program will cover travelling and accommodation cost of selected delegates. Designed in a hybrid format, the main conference will be held in person, while the pre-conference meetings and mentor sessions will be conducted online to facilitate the delegates.
HYLI 2026 will bring together outstanding university students to present their ideas to professionals and leaders from business, academia, non-profit, and government sectors. By attending the young leaders conference 2026, delegates will get a chance to develop their leadership skills, and understand the regional and global issues in-depth. As the program invites individuals from different countries, participants will build cross-cultural connections. All delegates attending the youth summit will become members of the alumni community.
The theme for HYLI 2026 is “FLOW AS ONE: What’s next for a sustainable future?” The international youth program invites students from Asian countries to discuss practical and innovative solutions for sustainability, technological, and inclusive growth challenges. HYLI fully funded young leaders program for undergraduate and graduate students will include expert-led forums, field visits to sustainability-related sites, interactive workshops, cultural exchanges, and final group presentations at the end. Eligibility Criteria for Hitachi Young Leaders Initiative 2026 in Philippines:
- The program invites undergraduate or graduate students from Indonesia, Malaysia, Myanmar, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam, and Japan.
- Up to 4 delegates will be selected from each participating country.
- Applicants must be available to attend both virtual and in-person events.
