mccall macbain fellowship, fellowships for canaidan students, scholarships for canadian students

Applications are now open for the McCall MacBain International Fellowships 2027. The program offers up to CAD $30,000 and is designed to help young students live and learn in different countries. Through McCall fellowships, students will create intercultural ties with different regions of the world. This year-long international experience will help to develop creativity, independence, and critical thinking among students.

The program, one of the International Fellowships for Canadian Students, is offered to the undergraduate students at McGill University, McMaster University, Dalhousie University, and the University of Manitoba, as well as current holders of the MacBain Niagara Falls and McCall Huron County scholarships. During the fellowship, students will study at a host institution and will complete an internship or will have work placement. Fellows will live with local hosts and spend time in volunteer activities. Through this opportunity, students will learn about a new culture, and gain different academic and professional perspectives.

To enhance their international experience, fellows will travel to countries that are new to them and learn a new language too. Along with helping students to expand their knowledge through diverse experiences, students will also be able to tackle global challenges. Fellows will receive a monthly living stipend during the academic and language terms. The tuition fee will be waived through their home university. Additionally, students will receive travel and establishment stipend, language course allowance and a medical allowance also. Apply now before the applications get closed.
