KAUST Microelectronics Winter Camp, Saudi Arabia

Call for applications for the KAUST Microelectronics Winter Camp 2026 in Saudi Arabia. Offered by King Abdullah University of Science and Technology, the fully funded internship program will be held from January 12- February 19, 2026, in Thuwal, Saudi Arabia. KAUST Winter Camp (MEWC) has No application or participation fees. The six-week research internship program, hosted at KAUST Campus, offers a stipend amount to cover the living expenses. Along with free accommodation on KAUST campus, interns will also have access to top research facilities.

Additionally, the program will provide logistics and visa support to the selected candidates. All interns, attending complete 6 weeks internship program, will be awarded with a completion certificate. With the purpose of improving innovative and technical skills of students, KAUST internship program 2026 invites both undergraduate and master’s students from all over the world. Under the mentorship of top faculty and professionals, students will lead research projects on crucial areas of microelectronics.

The KAUST research program will allow students to work on innovative research projects. Moreover, they will be attending workshops and technical training in latest technologies. One of the most interesting activity includes designing a gadget prototype related to the assigned projects. The program offers side workshops on enhancing research skills. At the end of this internship in Saudi Arabia for international students, there will be an exciting e-poster competition. To keep these students engaged and motivated, the program includes social events and activities as well.

Eligibility Criteria for KAUST Microelectronics Winter Camp Saudi Arabia:

Applicants must be recent graduates, senior undergraduates, or current master’s students in electrical and computer engineering related disciplines.
Applicants should have a minimum CGPA of 3.5/4.00 or higher than this.
Applicants must have excellent English language proficiency.
Candidates applying should show strong interest to work on research projects.
Candidates must pass interviews with KAUST faculty and administration.
