Call for applications for the Global Summer School 2026 in Thailand. The program is offered by the Chiang Mai University, and partner research institutions. The program will be held for 6 days from from 4-8 May, 2026, in Chiang Mai, Thailand. Selected participants will receive airfare reimbursement, accommodation, and meals during the 6-day summer research program. The summer program has no application or participation fees.

The fully funded research program invites applications from emerging scholars from around the world who are interested in climate challenges. The program focuses on climate change and its affect on human mobility. During the global climate summer school, participants will study climate change using knowledge from diverse fields like social science, health, environment, governance, and public policy.

The summer school provides an international platform for advanced academic discussions related to the program’s theme. Participants will have collaborative research on climate mobility challenges and come up with research solutions. The global research program 2026 will include lectures delivered by international researchers. Moreover, participants will visit  a climate-affected community in Thailand and observe real-world climate change impacts. Apply now before the deadline.
