German-Italian Young Leaders Dialogue in Berlin, Germany

Applications window for the 5th Edition of German-Italian Young Leaders Dialogue is now open! It is designed in hybrid format, including both virtual and in-person sessions. The youth leadership program 2025 will formally begin with a virtual event on 19 September, which can be attended while staying in your home country. Participants will then attend two online workshops on 6th October and 21st October, 2025. At the end, young participants will attend two days in-person fully funded Conference in Berlin on 27 and 28 October, 2025.

Spinelli Forum 2025 offers a unique platform to highlight the challenges related to the future of EU, and to discuss the relations between Italy and Germany in a supportive environment. Participants will also become members of network of Italian and German young leaders. The youth dialogue program is an excellent opportunity for young Italian and German leaders hailing from diverse fields. They can be from academia, politics, business, civil society, media, and social sector having keen interest in European cooperation.

During the youth conference in Germany, participants will discuss elements of EU in 4 working groups which include “Economic Growth and Social Cohesion, European Defence and Security, EU Climate and Energy, and Artificial Intelligence Regulation and Governance”. The Young Leaders Program in Europe is for you, if you are a German or Italian citizen aged between 25- 35 years, have strong interest in European cooperation, and can commit to participate in all virtual and in-person sessions.

Eligibility Criteria for German-Italian Young Leaders Dialogue in Berlin, Germany:

Applicants must be German or Italian young leaders.
Applicants must have strong interest in European cooperation, specifically in the fields of defence and security policy, economics, artificial intelligence or climate and energy policy.
Applicants should be between 25 and 35 years old.
Applicants should have first university degree (BA or MA) or equivalent qualification.
Applicants must have excellent command of English language.
