The EUI Jean Monnet Fellowships in Italy 2027 are offered for one year by The Robert Schuman Centre for Advanced Studies. The fully funded fellowship in Europe 2027 is open to individuals who are post-doctorates and tenure-track academics. It is an exceptional opportunity for researchers who have completed their doctorate degrees. The Centre will select up to 20 fellowships this year. Through European University Institute Program, scholars will get a chance to join a creative academic community.
These fellowships for international researchers will take place from September 2027- August 2028 at Villa Schifanoia in Italy. After completing this research fellowship program in Europe, fellows should have a publication as an EUI Working Paper, or in a scientific journal, or with a well-known academic publisher. Fellows will receive a grant of € 2,850 per month and a household and dependents allowance as well if applicable. Travel expenses will be reimbursed and participants will also be eligible for research expense allowance for attending conferences.
Candidates whose research proposal aligns with one of the Centre’s main research themes and programs will be selected. During the fellowship, Jean Monnet Fellows will be based at the Robert Schuman Centre. They will be working actively on one of the Centre’s projects and programs. Moreover, they will participate in the centre’s academic life and project related activities. On top of this, participants will collaborate with researchers, other postdocs and EUI academic staff. Benefits of EUI Research Fellowship in Europe:
The benefits of these Fellowships for PhD Holders are given below:
- Fellows will receive a basic grant of € 2,850 per month.
- The fellowship offers a household allowance of up to € 310 per month if applicable.
- The program includes a dependents allowance of € 210 per month for each dependent child if conditions are met.
