Call for applications for the Bonn Climate Camp 2026 in Germany. Organised by the BCC alongside United Nations climate negotiations, the program will take place in Bonn, Germany. Selected students will receive daily allowance, travel health insurance, and funding for traveling to Bonn. The youth camp will bring together climate activists from around the world.

The program is open to individuals from anywhere who agree with the values and mission of the camp. During the UN climate program 2026, participants will share their knowledge and learn from each other. The camp is designed to help activists in global climate discussions. They will have free community meals and a resting space near UN negotiations during breaks. The climate advocates will attend workshops and open events. Through this global camp, participants will get networking opportunities with global climate movements.

The participants will exchange ideas and mutually prepare climate action plans and campaigns. The Bonn Climate Camp in Germany focuses on participation of individuals from the Global South. Along with getting a chance to learn from global climate activists, participants will engage in interactive sessions and creative activities. Participants can join as individuals (activists, youth leaders, researchers, community organizers, volunteers) or as groups (civil society, climate organisations and movements). Eligibility Criteria for The Bonn Climate Camp 2026 in Germany:

  • Candidates can apply as groups working on climate justice and its intersections. Two participants based in the Global South will be nominated represent their organisation.
  • Nominated individuals must have evidence of local engagement.
  • One of the nominees must not have attended a UNFCCC COP previously.
  • One of the nominees should be under 30 years old.
  • One of the nominees must be non-male.
  • Individuals with disabilities are eligible to apply.
  • Nominees should be available to participate in the complete duration of the camp.
  • Nominees must be committed to offer support after attending the camp.
